Today Ben saw the doctor again for his 2 month vaccinations. He is doing well. He now weighs 10 lbs. and was measured at 22 1/2 inches, however I'm pretty sure he's taller than that (probably closer to 24" by my measuring).
Ben got 3 shots and an oral dose of vaccination. He did very well with the shots and is only a little more fussy than usual. The doctor is impressed with the fact that Ben is gaining so well with simply breastfeeding. She also commented on his skin and asked if we were using lotion, nope, he's just got good skin :).
Hopefully tonight won't be too difficult and he won't be too uncomfortable from his shots.
Oh...and one bit of squee news for me...I fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans today. Only 5 lbs. till I'm back to pre-baby weight. YAY!!!

Heheh - sometimes the doctors have bought into the idea that formula is 'better' than breastfeeding, even just a little bit. Hah!
If you do find that he has a reaction to the shots, you may try giving a bit of Tylenol BEFORE getting the shots - several people suggested it for Aurora, but since she never had problems, I never noticed if it helped or not.
The first two times Cam got his shots, he started crying around 5pm and didn't stop until bedtime! This last time we finally gave him baby Tylenol early and he did great. I'd see how Ben does this time, and if he's really fussy, pick up some Tylenol for the next set of vaccinations.
Wow you can get into your PP pants already, that is awesome. And what a great weight gain on Ben!
I'm jealous on both accounts! I'm still 2 sizes up from PP and Nathaniel has had trouble gaining weight - we've had to supplement :(
Congrats on the jeans!! That is most certainly something to be proud of :)
